An enlightening book that will be loved for a long time as a “textbook of tea bowls” and “illustrated book of tea bowls The long-awaited fourth volume of the “Tea Bowls” series (5 volumes), which can always be easily pulled out from the bookshelf This series introduces about 100 tea bowls of the tea ceremony, divided into Karamono, Korai, Wamono, and Raku, in each volume. Each bowl is divided into three to four pages, and photographs of the sides and prospects of the bowls, which until now have rarely been included, are also included. and the detailed information such as the quantity, transmission, accessories, and box inscriptions, etc. The fourth distribution is the fourth volume, “Japanese Tea Bowls. In addition to introducing 60 Kyo-yaki tea bowls, which are indispensable for understanding Japanese tea bowls of the Edo period, we also explore how 40 tea bowls produced by local kilns and potters, which have been little known so far, are connected to Kyo-yaki, based on their characteristics and production background.
