An enlightening book that will be loved for a long time as a “textbook of tea bowls” and “illustrated book of tea bowls The long-awaited “Tea Bowl” series that can always be easily pulled out from the bookshelf Each volume introduces about 100 tea bowls, divided into three categories: Karamono, Korai, Wamono, and Raku, with three to four pages per bowl, including not only the front view, but also side and prospect views, which have rarely been included in the book. In addition to clear explanations (characteristics of the bowls, relationship with the tea ceremony, etc.) and detailed information on the quantity, box calligraphy, accessories, and transmission of the bowls, the latest research results are taken into account to fully introduce the charm of the bowls that should be handed down to the next generation.
